The Production Finance Sessions are back for 2026!

After the immense popularity of our past Production Finance labs, this week-long online lab is geared towards producers and filmmakers working on financing their first or second feature films. It's also a fantastic opportunity for any filmmakers eager to gain insights into the business side of independent film.

Drawing from our years of experience preparing filmmaking teams for the Production Finance Market’s New Talent Strand, these sessions offer invaluable knowledge, whether or not you'll be attending the market.

• Rohan Kanawade, Director & Neeraj Churi, Producer (Cactus Pears, Winner of the Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Prize 2025)

We’ll also be hosting partner presentations with Triple Exposure, a collaborative company combining accountancy, insurance, and legal services for creatives. This will be an opportunity to get practical answers to some of the most frequently overlooked—but crucial—details of production. We'll also have partner presentations from Revolgy and IMDBpro in the week.

Past labs have featured some of the industry's leading voices, including Rachel Dargavel (My Father's Shadow), Trevor Birney (Kneecap) and Becca Wolff (Grand Theft Hamlet, PFM NTS alumni 2024). Plus Anna Godas (Dogwoof), Kristin Irving (BBC Film), Loran Dunn (Senior Lecturer & Producer, Hoard), Nathan Adabadze (Media Finance Capital), Isla MacGillivray (Saffery), and Antony Swiatek (Lee & Thompson) who have also shared their expertise. We've explored topics including producing a debut feature, the Audio-Visual Expenditure Credit (AVEC), how to pitch your project, implementing sustainability and documentary financing.
