Selected brings together some of the best work from early-career film and video artists from across the UK in a vibrant programme of recent artists’ moving image. Each year the artists who are shortlisted for the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Jarman Award nominate artists who are earlier on in their careers, and from those nominations a programme is curated by videoclub and FLAMIN.
Between 23 - 28 August 2021, the Selected 11 programme screened online with UK partners including Nottingham Contemporary, Spike Island (Bristol) and Phoenix (Leicester), and Fabrica (Brighton).
The nominators for the 2021 programme were: Michelle Williams Gamaker, Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings, Jenn Nkiru, Project Art Works, Larissa Sansour and Andrea Luka Zimmerman.
