The announced their 2022 nominations last Friday, and we are delighted to see a number of °µÍø³Ô¹Ï alumni recognised.
Aftersun, nominated for Best British Independent Film, is produced by Amy Jackson, who worked with °µÍø³Ô¹Ï on Riz Ahmed’s Daytimer in 2014.
London Screenings Breakthrough film Winners has been nominated for The Raindance Discovery Award and Breakthough Producer.
2022 °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Lodestar Ruth Greenberg is nominated in the Best Debut Screenwriter category for The Origin. Greenberg’s directorial debut RUN was funded by °µÍø³Ô¹Ï.
Honesty, a recipient of this year’s BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund, is nominated for Best British Short Film. Also nominated in this category is Joseph Pierce’s Scale. Pierce’s Family Portrait and Baby Shower both received °µÍø³Ô¹Ï funding. Finally, Too Rough receives a nomination – produced by Ross McKenzie, who received °µÍø³Ô¹Ï funding for his BAFTA-nominated short Rite.
The winners of the 2022 BIFAs will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday 4 December.
